Recent Church Activities
Pastor Franck is leading the new church and shares he is seeing God at work. He says, “This church plant is the answer to our prayers after many years. By God’s grace we see an awakening in my pastoral ministry, in the life of the church, and in the community. It has changed our lives to clearly see God’s work as we focus on the needs of children and families in our area.”
The church holds Sunday meetings for children and adults, along with recreational walks. In community outreach, the church distributed slippers and shoes to local children and distributed food to the families of children participating in the Compassion center.
Staff report that there is excellent coordination between the pastors of the mother and daughter churches. The pastor and leaders from the mother church visit regularly to encourage and assist the church plant team.
Learning Opportunities
Church staff share that the local authorities are supportive of the construction project and allowed a government architect and a civil engineer to work on the blueprints. Local leaders are also planning to improve the access roads leading to the church.
There is joy among local residents as they see construction progress. They know that the new church and child development center is for their benefit and blessing. Residents are eager to learn how to relate to God and for their children to be released from poverty. Through prayer and sacrifice the church has become united, more committed and joyful as they work together.
