Greetings TrueNorth Church! The church plant that you support in remote Ecuador has completed construction. Thank you for your patience as the team encountered many delays throughout the process. Thanks to your generous gift, 50 adults and 160 children are attending the church. The photo above shows one of the finished classrooms.
Construction Progress and Church Activities
The construction was completed and includes a multipurpose room, a small kitchen, restrooms, an office and two classrooms for children. The pastor was involved in supervising the work.
Many people in the program and in the community have decided to follow Jesus and several of them are in discipleship groups. The church is known and respected by the community and the local authorities for their service to people.

Learning Opportunities and Next Steps
The church realized that they need more classrooms and bathrooms to care for all of the children and youth attending the Compassion program. They also hope to add a mini-pastoral area.
Within the next few weeks, workers plan to build a well for the sanitary facilities and install electricity. With God’s help, they hope to begin construction of two extra classrooms on the second floor.

Testimonies of Impact
It has been a beautiful experience to see how a dream of having a house of prayer and worship has come to pass. The church has wanted to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community. God is loyal.

- Pray for more local workers and that God will raise up more servants in each community where they serve.
