Riverbank Church, thank you for your generous support of the church plant, Bethania Family Christian Church in Chonimatux. We are pleased to present to you the latest report on construction progress and church activities in the community. Currently, 35 adults and 15 children attend the church. Please continue to pray for God’s work in this community.
Construction Progress
The Construction team has completed 5 classrooms. This includes building walls, laying floors and building the roofs.
Challenges Encountered
In the last 60 days, there have been many periods of rainy weather that have slowed the construction progress.
Next Steps
- Installation of doors and windows
- Installation of the electrical infrastructure in the classrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen
- Begin the excavation for the foundation of the sanctuary
- Lay the concrete floor in the sanctuary
- Cast the concrete columns and build the brick walls for the sanctuary and the administration office
Church Activities
The church is organizing and holding regular prayer meetings in the community.
Testimony of Impact
I am deeply grateful to God for being part of this construction process. I am finishing my architecture degree at the university, and I am very excited to serve God by designing and directing the construction of our church building. Anyone can serve God wherever they are and with whatever skills they have.
Wilfredo, Church Leader
