Greetings, Preston Trails Community Church! Final construction tasks are underway at Iglesia Roca Fuerte and the congregation continues to grow. Since our last report, church attendance has doubled! Currently, 80 adults and 150 children are attending church services and 12 people recently made professions of faith.
Construction Progress and Next Steps
The major construction is completed and the church is already using the new facilities. Minor finishing tasks are in progress or scheduled. Next steps include the following:
- Placing wooden frames and doors and hardware.
- Finishing beams and columns in exterior walls.
- Finishing the pavement around the restrooms.
- Touch-up cleaning.
- Perimeter fencing and landscaping.
Pastor Allan (from the mother church) has organized fundraising activities to cover the cost of the perimeter fencing.

Challenges and Answered Prayer
The dirt roads leading to the church are in very poor condition and access is difficult during the rainy season. When the roads are muddy, access is limited to motorcycles, animal-drawn vehicles and 4WD vehicles. The church is grateful for volunteers from the congregation and community who used hand tampers to compact the ground.
Ministry Progress
Gabriela is the mother of a girl who participates in the Compassion program. She shared her joy over the new church and child development center:
“I can testify to the great work and love of the church for the children and families of the community. My daughter is learning the Bible and Christian values. Many thanks to the church, the donors and Compassion for caring about children who have less access to education, healthcare, and quality of life.”
Pastor Rodolfo explains how the new church is making an impact in the community:
“The new facilities are very relevant and have become a reference point. We were very surprised to hear that local authorities are planning to resurface the roads and the roads will be extended to the church.
It is incredible that our new facilities are generating these projects and initiatives. As a church, we will continue to pray for the socio-economic development of the community and to strengthen our evangelism and discipleship plan.”
