Greetings, Preston Trail Community Church! The church planting team at Iglesia Nazareno continues making construction progress and is also active in community ministry.
70 adults and 200 children are attending the church. Over the last 60 days, three people have professed faith in Christ and two people are preparing for baptism.

Construction Progress
Currently, 75% of the construction is completed. The status is as follows:
- Sanctuary: all masonry, concrete structures, and metal roofing is finished. The concrete slab for the floor was placed. A crew of masons is working on the refinement of beams and columns.
- Classroom and kitchen pavilion: the roof cover and the concrete slab floor were placed. A crew of welders is working on installing gates and masons are working on the refinement of beams and columns.
- Restrooms: all masonry, concrete structures, and metal roofing is finished. The concrete slab for the floor was placed.
The community has offered its support in the filling and soil compaction tasks. Parents volunteered to help and have offered various masonry tools to the church. Church members who live close to the construction site keep watch over the construction materials, tools and equipment.

- Child development staff meet with the parents of children participating in the Compassion center. Parents volunteered to help with construction.
Challenges and Learning Opportunities
There is no potable water at the new facility. The team had been drawing water from a well, but the pump has been damaged. In the interim, neighbors and members of the congregation are supplying water from their properties.
A second challenge is that workers needed a large supply of filling material to build sidewalks and the sanctuary floor. The church strengthened its capacities to mobilize resources and managed to cover the costs of the filling material.
Next Steps
The church expects to complete construction soon. Tasks to be completed include:
- Installing electrical work and lighting.
- Building sidewalks.
- Installing doors and gates.
- Laying tile.
- Installing plumbing fixtures.
- Painting and finish work.
Impact of the Church
Ismelda is the grandmother of a participant in the child development center. She shared her gratitude for the new church and its impact. “I thank God, the church and the donor for funding the construction of the church, classrooms, kitchen and sanitary battery in our community. Our children were unprotected and God answered our prayers. The families of the community trust the work of the church and the Compassion ministry. My granddaughter is growing in Christian values. God is good all the time.”

Praises and Prayer Requests
The church is preparing a great celebration to inaugurate the new facilities. The theme verse is, “We praise you, God, we praise you, for your name is near. People tell of your wonderful deeds” (Psalm 75:1).
Preston Trail Community Church, the church plant team sends their thanks for your gift and your trust in their ministry. The community is fertile ground for the preaching and expansion of the kingdom of God. They ask you to join them in prayer for the following requests:
- Pray for the children and their families.
- Pray for the church and congregation (Ephesians 5:27).
- Pray for the fruits of preaching.
- Pray for the construction progress and upcoming inauguration.
