Mission Hills Church, thank you! We’re pleased to bring you an update from Centro Cristiano in Cúcuta, Colombia. We praise God for the 22 people who recently put their faith in Christ and the two people who were baptized. Currently, 30 adults and 150 children attend church services. Thank you for equipping Centro Cristiano to bring the hope of the gospel to its community.

Construction Progress and Next Steps
The project team recently received results from a soil study that recommended building a retaining wall to help level the ground and prepare the land for construction. Contracts are being finalized with the engineers, and the church is vetting contractors.
Over the next 60 days, the team plans to:
- Clear the land.
- Excavate and level the ground.
- Pour the foundation.
Ministry Progress
On September 11, the church held a First Stone Ceremony, entrusting the construction and church activities to the Lord. Pastor José shared a message and the community was encouraged and grateful. Additionally, the community benefited from a health fair that provided mental health counseling, blood pressure readings and medical checkups for 170 people. As a result of the fair, two people dedicated their lives to Jesus.
Dexy, a church leader and Bible teacher, is excited about the new church and shares, “This opportunity brings hope to our community and its children. We thank God for you, whom God led to support us. May God bless you one hundredfold!”
Pictures of the current facilities, the dedication ceremony and the construction site are shown below.
Praises and Prayer Requests
Centro Cristiano is grateful to God for your generosity and asks you to join them in praying for:
- More laborers for the gospel.
- Wisdom and guidance to find the right contractor.
- Staff and tutors for the child development center.
- The children and their families who will benefit from this project.
