Greetings, Mission Hills Church! We’re pleased to bring you an update from the church plant you support in Tanzania. The team at Kanisa La Biblia continues to bring hope to their community and make construction progress. Your gift is making an impact in Tanzania as the congregation grows. Staff share that there have been 12 baptisms in the last two months.
Construction Progress
The classroom module is complete and contains seven rooms. In the most recent update, staff said the worship hall is being painted and walls are being plastered in the kitchen. Workers are close to completing the worship hall, next steps include painting the kitchen and installing kitchen floors. The pastor is dedicated to see the project completed and he assists workers by moving bricks and cleaning.
The rainy season presented some challenges to the construction project, but the team continues to make advances.

Ministry Progress
The church has a strong relationship with community members and is invested in the holistic health of the people. The pastor visits residents within their homes and shares the good news of the gospel. A solid core of 19 adults and 27 children are attending the church.
The church has had a positive impact on the community in several ways. The local economy benefits as the church hires laborers and purchases construction materials such as bricks, sand, stones. Safe drinking water is provided to the entire community at no cost through the church’s well.
