Greetings, Mission Hills Church! The team at Kanisa La Biblia is making consistent construction progress. The church plant is already making an impact in the community and two people have recently made professions of faith. Your partnership is making a difference in Tanzania!
Construction Progress and Next Steps
The construction team is currently placing roofing over seven classrooms. Foundations for the restrooms and worship hall are being laid.
Over the next 60 days, the team expects to start construction of the kitchen building, finish seven classrooms and raise walls for the worship hall and restrooms.
Challenges and Learning Opportunities
Leaders report two major challenges: a lack of water at the construction site and delays in receiving materials. Workers tried to drill a well at the site, but it didn’t yield enough water. As an alternative, the team pays villagers to fetch water for construction.
Secondly, due to the remote area, there are delays in receiving construction materials.
Recent Church Activities
The pastor has been sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with people in the village. He makes regular visits to the construction site to check on progress and provide support whenever needed. The pastor is confident that the church will transform the community through ministry and providing holistic development to children and their families.
Praises and Prayer Requests
Church leaders express that they are full of gratitude for your gift to plant this new church and child development center. They want you to know that your gift is a seed that will bear much fruit. They ask you to pray for the church as they start implementing the child development program. We look forward to bringing you more progress updates!
