Greetings, Foothills Bible Church! We’re pleased to bring you an update from Iglesia Cristiana Reformada in the Dominican Republic. The church is active in community outreach and three people recently professed faith in Christ.
The construction team is making great strides and expects work to conclude soon.
Construction Progress and Next Steps
Workers have installed doors and windows, finished roofing, and the buildings are almost completely painted. Next steps include filling the yard or patio and installing block or chain link fencing around the perimeter.
Impact of Your Gift
Members of the church plant team say that they have learned to depend on God and they realize the importance of teamwork. They have experienced God’s blessing throughout the construction project. The church hosts meetings with children and parents, worship services, and meetings with the volunteer team. Miguelina is a member of the church who expresses her gratitude:
“I have lived in this community for eight years. Upon hearing the news and seeing the development of this church plant, I was filled with joy that my grandchildren and I would be supported by the church. We are very blessed to have a local church that shares the Word of God.”
