A Letter From Reverend Mathayo
Dear Friends,
I greet you in the name of Jesus. On behalf of our entire church, I extend our sincere gratitude for your support to help release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
We are honored to serve our community with a holistic childhood development program. Thank you for your gift that makes it possible.
We have already seen the impact of our ministry both materially and spiritually. Many parents of participants have accepted Jesus as their Savior!
Please receive our heartfelt gratitude for funding this sponsorship launch. With your gift, with have purchased office equipment, laptops and kitchen supplies. We have also completed roofs on two new classrooms. We hope to use church contributions to add a roof to a third classroom and purchase a water tank.
Thank you so much for your support. It has been crucial to running our program effectively. May God bless you and your congregation abundantly.
Yours in the Lord,
Reverend Mathayo
Ministry Progress
Compassion’s Partnership Facilitators manage relationships with local churches, helping them build capacity, mobilize resources and strengthen ownership of the ministry.
Tabitha, the Partnership Facilitator who works with TZ0619 says, “The church is ministering to children by meeting their basic needs such as food and medical care. Pastors and leaders have also mobilized local resources to help build two new classrooms and a bathroom for the children to utilize during programming. Church members and caregivers volunteer their time and resources to help with construction, hopeful for a safe and healthy environment for children to thrive. Thank you for making this possible.”

An Interview With Milfat
Milfat, pictured below with her mother, is an 8-year-old participant at TZ0619. She lives close by and walks to get there. She enjoys coming to the center to learn about God and play with her friends. Her favorite things to do are praying, learning, singing and playing. She has learned to love others, show respect, good manners and how to walk in obedience. When she grows up she wants to teach others by being a professor.
Thanks to your investment, Milfat and her friends can have a newfound hope and bright future.
Your Gift Matters
First Baptist Church Frisco, because of your gracious support, this church is full of joy for its child development center that will ultimately benefit so many eager children.
