Frisco First Baptist Church, thank you for investing in children and families experiencing poverty in Togo. With your gift, the child development center at Eglise des Assemblées de Dieu du Togo serves 141 participants and their families with holistic child development. We’re pleased to bring you an update on the ministry progress from our frontline church partner.

Ministry Progress at Eglise des Assemblées de Dieu du Togo
Because of your gift, the church’s child development center provides holistic activities to children experiencing severe poverty. Children who participate in sponsorship programs are more likely to complete higher levels of formal education, become community leaders and maintain steady employment. In the program, children:
- Learn about safe health and hygiene practices.
- Develop self-confidence and social skills through recreational activities.
- Participate in academic activities that promote healthy cognitive development.
- Experience God’s love from nurturing and loving staff.

Dear Supporter,
On behalf of our church here in Togo, I want to thank you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ for your generous support to our church. The church leaders and I cannot appreciate you enough for your gift. We want you to know how much of a difference you have made in the lives of our church and, more specifically, in the lives of the participating children.
Over the past few years, our church has been providing child and youth development activities throughout the entire community, but a lack of funding has prevented us from supporting enough children. Your gift has changed this. Now we are equipped with furnished classrooms, cooking supplies, teaching materials and office supplies. We also provide medical checkups for our participants.
Your donation is invaluable to us. We are overjoyed to provide the services mentioned above and we are extremely grateful to you for making it possible.

An Interview With a Participant
Patricia (pictured right) is an 8-year-old participant at Eglise des Assemblées de Dieu du Togo. She walks 650 feet from her home to get to the center.
At the center, Patricia likes learning and having fun, and her favorite activity is singing. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she said, “I want to be a teacher.”
For Patricia and other Togolese children, bright futures await them because of your generosity.
