First Baptist Church Tulsa, thank you for your gift to launch a new child development center at Eglise Apostolique du Togo. Currently, 100 children participate in holistic child development activities at this center. Because of your generosity, this church partner is fully equipped to help care for the vulnerable children and families in their community.
Ministry Progress at Eglise Apostolique du Togo
The church has registered children for the program, prepared classrooms, purchased supplies and hired and trained staff members and volunteers who will work with the children. Now that the center has been launched, children can go to the center for six to eight hours on Saturdays.

About the Community
The church is located in southern Togo in a community that is home to approximately 2,000 people. Agriculture is the main economic activity of the area, followed by small-scale trade. Families earn an average of $8 per month. Malnutrition, a lack of hygiene and poor wastewater management contribute to common illnesses such as malaria and respiratory infections, which take a heightened toll on young children and the elderly.
Through the new child development center, the church hopes to be a light in the community, by sharing the gospel, advocating for children and helping improve living conditions. Your gift makes this possible.
