Greetings, First Baptist Church! We’re pleased to bring you an update from the new child development center based at Iglesia Bautista Misionera in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Greetings From the Pastor of Iglesia Bautista Misionera
Dear Friends:
I greet you warmly in the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to let you know all that is being done and will be done through your support. All of the children participating in the Compassion program have received medical checkups. Staff from the child development center have been active in ministry to children and families. Some of their recent activities include:
- Delivering food to registered children
- Making home visits to children and their parents.
- Leading workshops for parents.
Staff from the center also collaborate with church leaders by delivering clothes and food to children in need who are not part of the project. Our church continues to update our facilities, and we plan to make more improvements to better serve children.
Our vision for the future is that the church and the Compassion center will continue impacting the community. Over the next three years, our vision includes:
- Holding evangelistic crusades.
- Making home visits to share the gospel.
- Providing discipleship training.
- Leading various classes for parents, including entrepreneurship training.
- Opening a theological education center open to the community.
During the last few months, the church has added several members who decided to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. Currently, 15 families regularly attend church, some of them are families of children participating in the Compassion center. Thank you for your investment in our community.
