A Letter From Daigi, the Partnership Facilitator

Compassion’s Partnership Facilitators manage relationships with local partners, helping them build capacity, mobilize resources and strengthen ownership of the project.

Dear Friends,

My name is Daigi, and I am a Partnership Facilitator. I am so grateful for your kind support. I am writing to tell you about the wonderful impact you are having in the lives of Compassion children.

When I visit the child development center, I see children filled with hope and excitement! These children are very different from the children who do not have this opportunity. 

Loving staff members are making sure children learn to read and write, build healthy hygiene habits, have good health and understand that they can be part of breaking the cycle of poverty. These skills will help them generate income and gain opportunities as they get older. Even when a family is struggling, I can see joy on the faces of mothers when they realize their children will have opportunities to learn, receive medical care and play in a safe environment.

Families are learning that even in the most desperate situations, there is a God who loves them and wants to protect and provide for them. 

Please pray for the staff who are working hard to make a difference in this community. They are committed to helping children, but their jobs are not easy, and they face daily challenges. I pray for you every day and hope God is doing wonderful things in your life. You are such a blessing to us.

Staff Promote Healthy Child Development

Seven new staff members have been hired. Center staff have expertise in teaching, spiritual leadership, accounting and more. These staff members will serve as positive role models and will support children in their intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical development.
