A Letter From Iglesia Bautista Misionera
Dear Sponsors:
I send you warm greetings in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and wish you success in all your activities. I am grateful to God for your support that allows us to reach the children and families of this community.
Our ministry is focused on the comprehensive development of children through education and sharing the Word of God. The ministry to children also allows us to reach their parents. Your gift allowed us to furnish the classrooms and buy learning materials, computer equipment, and kitchen supplies. Without your gift, it would not have been possible for us to achieve all of this.
Through the child development center, the church is impacting families in the community. The center is recognized as a ministry of social support for many low-income families. The church is reaching out to families and sharing the Word of God, in hope that all families can come to the feet of Christ.
Our dream is to implement programs for families in four areas: spiritual, cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical. We want to help them develop fully and fulfill all of God’s plans. We will continue to pray for God’s blessing and care to be with you.
Sincerely,
Pastor Jorge

An Interview with Zeeb
How far is your house from the center? How do you get to the project?
I live within 20 minutes walking distance and am usually accompanied by my older sister.
Why do you enjoy going to the center and what is your favorite activity?
In my class there are board games, they give us food, and they teach us from the bible. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles and singing.
What are some things you have learned at the center?
I learned that God created the heavens and the earth.
What would you like to do or be when you grow up?
When I grow up, I want to be a teacher to teach children in school.
