First Baptist Church Tulsa, thank you for your gift to launch a new child development center based at BF0280 in western Burkina Faso. The child development center is located in a community of 3,796 residents who live in extreme poverty. The community lacks basic services and children often contract malaria. Your gift enables trained staff to serve those who most need help.

Impact of Your Gift
BF0280 has hired staff, recruited volunteers and registered 260 children who will benefit from Compassion’s holistic child development program. The center is operating normally and children participate in activities at the center for eight hours each week. These children learn that they are loved and receive medical checkups, nutritious meals and educational support.

We are very happy to write to you to express our deep gratitude. The pastor, staff, community members and registered children all thank you for your generous support that enables the church to care for children. The whole community recognizes and talks about the fact that children in the program have good hygiene habits and are learning how to collaborate, respect and love others. This is possible thanks to your gift.
The church purchased kitchen utensils and food for preparing meals for the children, a computer, office equipment and printed school materials.
