Greetings, First Baptist Church Tulsa! Thank you for your generous gift to launch Fundación la Verdad Child Development Center, based at Iglesia Bautista Misionera in Bolivia. An estimated 150 children at this child development center will receive holistic care from trained staff who support their growth and development. Thank you for giving children and their families a brighter, more hopeful future.

Background
The community where this child development center is located has a population of 10,000 people. Caregivers most commonly work temporary jobs, making bricks, doing construction, cleaning homes or selling goods at local markets. Both adults and children suffer from malnutrition due to an inability to afford food. Families live in small homes with no plumbing, electricity or safe drinking water. Before the child development center was opened, children had to travel long distances to go to school and receive medical care.

Compassion’s Partnership Facilitators manage relationships with local churches, helping them build capacity, mobilize resources and strengthen ownership of the ministry.
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We would like to thank you for your great support. It is a blessing to see children excited to learn about Jesus. They hear Bible stories, memorize Bible verses and praise God.
The church seeks to be an institution rooted in biblical principles. Church staff have organized a children’s Bible club where children participate in games, write letters, do crafts and receive educational support. They also visit children and parents in their homes. All activities aim to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
The church is recognized in the community for the work we do to support children and families. Local authorities are pleased with our work, and parents feel immensely grateful for the care they receive. Parents are committed to the program because they believe God is at work in the lives of their children.
