Thank you, Emmanuel Baptist Church! We’re pleased to bring you a final update on your gift to launch a new child development center in Sri Lanka. With your support, 183 children are participating in center activities, where they receive healthy meals, educational support and medical checkups.

Program Progress at the Center You Support
Children who participate in Compassion’s program are more likely to stay in school, complete higher levels of formal education, become local leaders and obtain sustainable employment. In the photos below, children and their caregivers participate in various activities at the center, where they feel known, loved and protected.

Dear Friends,
I extend heartfelt greetings to you in the name of Almighty God.
My board, the management team, and I are eager to express our sincere thanks to you for supporting the launch of the child development center. From last year through today, we have been serving the children, families and mothers in our community and neighboring villages who live in poverty. We have implemented many programs to achieve physical, social and cognitive outcomes for the children.
The local health clinic and child protection unit have contributed greatly to our success in all our activities. We have increased our communication with these authorities, and as a result, the community has welcomed and fully accepted us and appreciates that we promote good character and moral values among our villagers. We are thankful that we can easily share our hope with them and welcome them into our midst.
We have created more ways to achieve greater physical, social and cognitive, and we look forward to implementing new activities and plans.
