We are pleased to share the latest progress report from your church plant, Iglesia Alianza de la Ciudad de Pedernales, in the city of Pedernales, Esmeraldas, Ecuador. The construction effort has passed the halfway point, and excitement is growing as the building takes shape. The church passed along a bonus series of photos for you, too, with children holding art projects with messages created just for you!
Construction Progress
Construction is 60 percent complete.
Pastor Omar Barroso hopes the construction will be completed as soon as possible for the benefit and advancement of the spiritual work so we can continue to preach about the Word of God and that we can continue with the activities that we prepare for the benefit of the children.
Church Activities
Currently, 60 adults and 150 children attend the church regularly.
In the past 60 days, four people have made first-time professions of faith in Christ and are preparing to be baptized.
There is great interest in children to learn about the Word of God. We give them new classes with special materials that we have been able to obtain.
Challenges Encountered
To be able to touch the heart of the parents. We want them to know the salvation that liberates the sinner and saves the one who is lost.
Children are a beautiful treasure. They are taking the message of God to their parents.
Next Steps
Continue placing the blocks of the church and the classrooms.
Testimony of Impact
Jennifer Mantuano is the mother of one of the children who attends the child development center. She says it is a blessing for our church and especially for her. She is praying for the center and is excited because she and her daughter are learning more about the Word of God.
Praises and Prayer Requests
First, we thank God for touching the hearts of the people who decided to support the children and our community to build this beautiful house of prayer and service. We want to thank the donors and sponsors for giving us what God, in His mercy, gives them.
We would like you to pray for the construction. May we continue building without any problem. May the church and child development center be a channel of blessing for the entire community. May God help us to continue with good testimony always.
