Acts 29 Network, thank you for your support of your church plant, Igreja Batista Independente Betel in Patos, Paraiba, Brazil. The church is making construction progress and continues to work at completing the construction within the next two months.
Construction Progress
After many challenges and struggles, we were able to place the installation on the roof, and all the doors and windows are already being set up, which should be placed at the beginning of September. We are approaching the final phase and God has accomplished great things in our building.
Church Activities
Currently, 20 adults and 2 children attend the church. The whole church is committed to finish the building and church planting, whether by manually doing construction or by contributing offerings, everyone is praying to the Lord that we can finish everything.
Church members have been marveling at what God has done in the building and in our church, the laying of the roof was a miracle in our midst, the Bethel Baptist community served day and night, sometimes working until 11 PM so that the roof was in place. God has blessed us. In addition, friendly Christian communities have volunteered to serve in the building, we also see it as the work of God’s hands.
Challenges Encountered
Our biggest challenge has been managing the financials but God has been helping us every day, we are committed to getting things done to the best of our ability. Another challenge has been managing the time and energy of the team involved in the evangelization process and following up with the children of the project.
Next Steps
- make the interior floor
- put the doors and windows
- perform the final electrical and hydraulic installations
- perform the latest finishes
Praises and Prayer Requests
We want as a Church to thank the partners who have blessed us with this work. We ask for prayer that God may enable the building of our church to take place in the best way possible. We ask that God may continue to move our church, enlivening us more and more with love for the lost lives in our community and for God to add people to our church.
We reinforce our thanks to the brothers who are helping us in this difficult work, to know that God has done great things and has shown that He is present with us. We would also like to emphasize how God has worked miracles among us and many through our own hands. Glory to God.
